The building of the Cornerstone Vocational Training Centre relies solely on the support of financial donations and the work of unpaid volunteers. Your generous support will bring hope and a future to these precious children.
We also want to acknowledge the work that many others are doing to operate valuable programs and provide much needed services, both in this region and around the world. We understand the challenges in making a decision to support one cause over another. When considering giving, we want to let you know that:-
- Cornerstone Foundation is a tax exempt, non-profit, charitable organisation
- 100% of your donation to Cornerstone Foundation will directly benefit an orphan in northern Uganda
- The founding directors (and all other on-the-ground helpers or volunteers) do not take salaries nor do they use funds given by donors towards the Cornerstone Project for their day-today living expenses in Kitgum
- All donations received by Cornerstone Foundation go directly towards the building, equipping and establishment of the Vocational Training Centre in Kitgum, Uganda
- All members and helpers of the Cornerstone Foundation Committee are dedicated unpaid volunteers
- As a consequence of this, administration costs are extremely nominal and are currently less than 1%
