Our mission
Cornerstone Foundation believes that every child deserves the provision of daily food, basic clothing, medical attention and educational training based on the Biblical principles and values of faith, hope, love, compassion, equality, justice and mercy.
The mission of Cornerstone Foundation is to provide practical care for orphaned and destitute teenagers living in poverty and fear in a region that has been devastated by AIDS and a brutal civil war that has been largely ignored by the developed world. It aims to do so by building and running a free-of-charge ‘Vocational Training Centre’ in Kitgum, northern Uganda so that orphaned teenagers can be given the means of creating a sustainable livelihood and a positive future for themselves.
